This year I wanted to produce a resume of higher quality that stands out from the rest of the crowd in material choice and print methods. While standing out from the crowd, I would also like the print to best represent my work through the method. One of the deliverables I wanted to achieve was printing on heavy stock 100% cotton rag paper.
For the actual print method I wanted to use a classical process of Intaglio. Using hard-ground acid bath etching, I could achieve the precision I would like to incorporate in my prints.
The line-work was all hand done on the copper plate and required the type to be inverted due to the nature of the process.
Business cards also utilized the cotton rag paper and was ran through an Olympia typewriters typeset.
